I will probably spin it up eventually, but it's not going to be one I pick up anytime soon.
I need to get a better camera, I can't seem to take a picture that gets the colors right.

Where I document my fascination with all things fiber. Spinning, knitting, weaving, felting, and preparing fiber to become something else. Like Deborah Kerr, caught up by Yul Brenner into a consuming passion for something different.

hi ...i think this is gorgeous personally...but if you don't love it consider blending it with some lighter color...
Thanks Rita, I think that I will spin it as a single and then ply it with something more colorful.
Beautiful dye job! You do lovely work.

Thanks for sharing your fiber talents. I'm learning a lot from you. Thanks again!
Barbara, it's not your camera. It's the time of day and the room you're in, etc.
Most natural light photos come out with a blue tint. If you use a photo editing and posting program like Picasa, you can make this adjustment really easily.
I do it on EVERY photo I take indoors of my fiber, have hope!
I quite like the colors -- somber and subtle. Do show us the yarn when you spin and plie it.
